A rector's holiday was announced for 11 May. What does this mean for me if I am a student or an academic?
There will be no classes on that day. However, some courses may still be taught according to the current timetable. If unsure, please check with your lecturers for specific teaching arrangements.
A rector's holiday has been announced for 11 May. What does this mean for me if I am a non-academic?
Non-academic staff are unaffected by the Rector's holiday. 11 May is a working day for them. An exception is made for those staff members who have registered and are actively participating in or directly involved in the organisation of one of the MUNI Day activities or social events.
I have registered for one of the MUNI Day activities. What should I do next?
Follow the email. Depending on the type of activity, you will be reminded of your participation, along with instructions on when and where to arrive. We also remind you that registration for the MUNI Day social afternoon must be done separately.
I have registered for the social afternoon of MUNI Day. What should I do next?
You will receive an ID badge with your registration, which will allow you to buy refreshments at a better price. You will be able to pick up this ribbon at the registration information booth on the day of the event, which will be located at the reception of the Faculty of Sports Studies in the morning and in the afternoon in the main zone, in the arcade of building C10.
Can I just come to the social afternoon of MUNI Day without registering?
Yes, however, your registration will help us organizationally, for example, with regard to ordering the number of food and refreshments. In addition to your registration, you will receive an ID badge which will allow you to buy refreshments at a better price. Registering and getting an ID badge on-site will also be possible, but we appreciate it if you register in advance.
I have registered for some of the activities. However, I am among the substitutes. What does this mean for me?
Tournaments, exercises and excursions have a limited capacity to guarantee the comfort of all participants, so registration is required for these. If you are registered as an substitute, if someone registered before you withdraw, you will be moved into their place and automatically notified by email. If space is unavailable, you can come on the day of the event and register on the spot for the class of your choice. In this case, however, attendance cannot be guaranteed in advance.
