MUNI DAY 2024
A sports and social gathering across the university for all staff and students, this was MUNI DAY. With your help, we filled the Bohunice University Campus with sport, culture, fun and also knowledge! Thank you to everyone who participated in the activities or helped with the organisation. We are already looking forward to next year's event.
Thursday 16th May 2024 was a key day to come together for a university-wide event called MUNI DAY 2024. The morning sports activities, open after registration, were soon filled and all sports venues occupied. Another cultural and social programme was held in collaboration with faculties and societies in the campus corridor. Sightseeing activities included visits to the SIMU Simulation Centre, laboratories of the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Sports Studies, the Anatomy Museum and the Kejbala Model Campus Garden.
The traditional icing on the cake was once again a floorball match between a team of five faculties from the city centre along with the Rector's Office against a team composed of campus faculties and the surrounding area. Once again, it was a prestigious affair that produced many exciting moments. In the end, the CAMPUS team emerged victorious, beating the CITY team 3-2.
"We direct all our activities all year to win," Martin Repko, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and CAMPUS team captain, entered the match with exaggeration.
