I am Róbert Kubizna, graduate geologist and graduate of MUNI. I was inspired by burritos and quesadillas in the US, so I opened one of Brno's first food trucks after graduating from college. We have been roaming the streets of Brno with him since 2017. Since 2019, we have had a bistro in Pekanda where, in addition to Tex-Mex dishes, people can also have tacos in our own tortillas.

We are a small craft brewery located in the village of Rozdrojovice, not far from Brno.

After seven years of home brewing, we fulfilled our dream and have been brewing beer in our microbrewery since 2018. We like to experiment, and in the first 5 years we brewed over 30 types of beer.

Our flagship beer is Garrigue 11° light lager, which we brewed in honor of the TGM on the 100th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic. Professor Masaryk said: "A man is what he makes". When brewing this beer, we were the malt, hops, water and yeast.

Music & Chill

Let's meet, have fun and enjoy the music! A DJ will take care of the atmosphere from 12:00, and four bands will play from 16:30. Come relax, meet friends and soak up the energy of MUNI DAY!

DJ Štěpán Brück has over 20 years of experience and specializes in music for weddings, parties and private events. Thanks to his sensitive selection of songs and adaptation of the repertoire, he is a sought-after professional.

We are a new student band called SHUT the BLiNDS, playing covers. We play mostly Funk and Pop, but we cover all styles of music. In the future, we plan to create our own music. We hope to please you with our performance.

The Kampustňáci aim to show that we, scientists, are also just people. Despite the established stereotype, we do not sit in a laboratory covered in layers of dust, but we love movement, singing and dancing and we try to use this to popularize science.

The Zelené koule is a Brno band that has been performing unique ecological songs with humorous and poetic lyrics since its formation in 2005. Their content focuses on environmental protection, gender and social issues.

Outdoor Activities

A variety of fun outdoor activities await you, allowing you to experience new and perhaps unfamiliar sports, develop team spirit and enjoy some time in the fresh air. Whether you just want to play or compete in various disciplines, we look forward to a fun and active time together!

Korfball

4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, gravel area between pavilions D33 and E34

Korfball is the only team ball game in which men and women compete together. It is played on a 40 x 20 m field, divided into 2 halves (zones), where two teams of 8 players (4 men and 4 women each) try to score as many points as possible by throwing the ball into the rim of a korfball basket, which is 3.5 m high. Each basket counts as one point.

Disk golf

4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, gravel area between pavilions D33 and E34

Disc golf is an attractive sport discipline and an increasingly popular leisure activity. It is a variation of classic golf - instead of sticks and balls, flying discs (frisbees) are used, and instead of holes, special baskets. Frisbee golf, as this sport is sometimes called, originated in the 1970s in the USA and has since gained hundreds of thousands of fans around the world.

Spikeball

4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, gravel area between pavilions D33 and E34

Spikeball is a sport with a ball and a special net trampoline. Two pairs play against each other, the goal of the pair is to bounce the ball off the trampoline with a maximum of three hits (teammates can score twice between each other). Then the second pair plays in the same way. The game is non-contact, the teams are not allowed to interfere with each other in the game. The game starts with a serve, which should not bounce off the trampoline higher than the opponent's outstretched arm. Any part of the body may be used. The pair that first scores 21 points wins.

Lakros

4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, gravel area between pavilions D33 and E34

Lacrosse is a team sport originating from North American Indians. Two teams play on a field with lacrosse sticks with a net (lacrosse), in which players carry the ball, pass it to each other and try to hit it into the other team's goal. Over time, other versions of the game have developed. The Americans derived the field lacrosse version, the Canadians invented box lacrosse. In the Czech Republic, a version called Czech lacrosse is also played, which has its own specifics.

Mölkky

4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, gravel area between pavilions D33 and E34

Mölkky is a Finnish game in which the object is to knock down numbered pegs placed on the ground to score a desired number of points. The game set consists of 12 wooden pegs marked with the numbers 1 to 12 and a throwing peg. At the beginning, the pegs are placed on the ground close together in a four-row arrangement.

Ladder Golf

4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, gravel area between pavilions D33 and E34

Ladder golf is a fun, easy game with a special ladder and balls on a string. The goal of the game is to throw balls connected by a string onto the ladder so that they wrap around it and remain hanging. Ladder golf is also known by other names such as: Spin Ladder, Ladder game or Swedish golf. The games can be played by two, three or four people or teams.

Petanque

4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, gravel area between pavilions D33 and E34

Pétanque is a French board game for two teams of 1-3 people, who try to place balls as close as possible to the target, which is a wooden ball, the so-called shoshone. The principle of the game is very simple, but perfect mastery of technique and tactics requires regular training. A significant advantage of this game is that it can be played by practically everyone (women with men, old people with children, even the physically disabled can participate in all tournaments) and practically anywhere (the terrain of the field is arbitrary).
